Ship manoeuvrability and manoeuvring simulations

This session will present an overview of the different setups for evaluating the manoeuvrability of displacement marine vessels. It will also demonstrate the methodology used to perform so-called free running self-propelled manoeuvring simulations using a proportional control system as an autopilot. The overviews will discuss meshing, pre- and post-processing.
