MBDA Systems are subjected to very high dynamic loadings under severe environments (temperature, humidity, vibration,…).
The aim was to assess the feasibility of the use of a cold spray torch to reproduce a unsteady pressure template representative of our applications.
Relevant test conditions are based on STAR-CCM+® multi variable analysis.
Comparison between simulations and measurements for different unsteady pressure sensor technologies has allowed to validate STAR-CCM+ modeling.
The test facility and the STAR-CCM+ capabilities enable us to explore the impact of different environments (temperature and humidity) on the response of diverse sensor technologies.
STAR-CCM+ and OPTIMATE+ coupling open up to new opportunities in test exploration.
